Where the stars come from. Each rating is the family caregiver survey rating (CAHPS Hospice Survey) that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services publishes, shown with the date CMS released it. A hospice without enough survey responses has no rating.
No hospice pays to be listed, and the Brotherhood does not recommend one over another.
When you choose a hospice, ask whether it will welcome your priest at any hour, and tell the staff that the person is an Orthodox Christian who wishes to receive Holy Communion and Holy Unction.
